OLD and NEW...

This is the first escalator( or almost first) in Toronto...
made by wood...wooden escalator!!...haha..
it was amazing(at least to me)...cuz i haven't seen wooden escalator before...

i went to Furniture store and found this escalator in the store..
i heard that this place(College park) used as a wedding hall and it's part of wedding hall...
however now it's a just shopping mall....
but...anyway...it looks and has kept well...of course it doesn't move now..

these days...
people change everything...old to new...
wanna have new ones and don't wanna keep old stuff..
everythings are new around me...
that's why i can be very amused, when i see old things in the middle of down town...

anywayz...
it was another nice surprising in the middle of town...
hope i can find some old and good stuff sometimes and wanna be amused again...

i just got emails from my these two friends..
and they both sent me their pictures...
haven't seen them so long time...so i was really happy to see them...even though they are just in pictures...

"Hey! my friends, it was nice surprising gift and you look really great as usual!!"

and of course miss you...!!... :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

It was Steve's birthday!!!...
of course, we had a party at home(wine and cheese...oh my god! there were a lot of cheese and wine, so i had a little problem with it at that night..haha.) and then went to gorgeous vegi-restaurant..
it was a very very nice birthday party..

actually i bought a Korean cake(picture) for him...
cuz Korean cakes has different taste from Canadian ones...(i don't mean Canadian cakes are bad..)
but couldn't eat it at Canadian restaurant...cuz they don't want us to bring the cake and they expect to buy cake(dessert) there..
that's different and new concept to me...
cuz we(Koreans) always bring our own birthday cakes to any restaurants......haha..
(anyway we tasted my cake at home...woops... : )

sometimes....

여기온지도 거의 한달이 되간다...
모든것이 새롭고(이미 경험해봤던 생활이라 할지라도...) 조금은 낯설다...
이럴땐 가끔씩 우울해지기도 하는데...
그럴때마다 생각나는 사람들...
가족....그리고 친구들...

하지만...
그리 비관적이지만은 않다...
왜나면 우울함 가운데서도 새로운 삶에대한 왠지모를 짜릿함을 느끼니까..ㅋㅋ..
혼자서 만들어가는 삶은...
흥분되기도...외롭기도 하다...언제나...
믿을건 나 자신뿐!!!....

어찌됐건....
다들 보고싶다...!!!...
(사진이 별로 없어서 한국에서의 마지막 친구들 모임 사진으로 결정...여기 없다고 섭섭해하지 말기... :)
